& Cooking: Frozen Turkey Burgers
• Keep frozen turkey burgers in the freezer until ready to cook.
• To grill
or broil: To reduce sticking, spray a thin coating of nonstick vegetable
cooking oil on the unheated grill rack or brush the grill rack with
a small amount of cooking oil. Grill or broil turkey patties from the
frozen state, 4-inches from the heat, over direct, medium heat, turning
once to cook evenly on both sides. Cook until the internal temperature
reaches 165ºF.
• To pan
sauté: In large, heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat,
cook frozen burgers in a small amount of vegetable oil for 3 to 4 minutes
per side or until fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165ºF.
