Country-Style Italian Turkey Sausage with Pasta
| Ingredients |
| 1 Tablespoon olive oil |
| 1 Medium onion, chopped |
| 1 Pound Italian-style TURKEY SAUSAGE, 1/4 inch diagonal slices |
| 1 Pound dried penne pasta |
| 1 Cup half-and-half or light cream |
| 1 Cup TURKEY or chicken broth |
| 1/4 Teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
| 1 tomato, peeled, seeded, and diced |
| 1 5.2-Ounce Packet spiced gournay cheese w/ garlic & herbs (Boursin), cubed |

- In a 12-inch nonstick skillet, over medium heat, saute onion and turkey sausage in hot oil, stirring occasionally until turkey is browned and onion is tender, about 10 minutes. Keep warm.
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, in a 2-quart saucepan, heat the half-and-half or cream and broth to boiling over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium; add crushed red pepper flakes and cheese, whisking constantly, until the cheese is melted and smooth. Stir in turkey-sausage mixture and heat through.
- In a serving bowl, toss drained pasta with the turkey-sausage mixture. Sprinkle the diced tomatoes on top of the pasta for a colorful garnish.
- Makes 6 main dish servings.
